Even heroes need a break. Tranquility Rooms will give them the opportunity to relax and recharge.
While COVID-19 has left health care workers around the world at risk of experiencing fatigue, there is something we can do to help. By providing opportunities for our health care providers to relax in a tranquil atmosphere, we can help them refresh their minds and bodies, energizing them to care for patients and their loved ones with compassion and excellence.
Your donation will provide the resources to install tranquility rooms at UPMC Horizon and UPMC Jameson which will be dedicated to the health and wellness of staff. These rooms will enhance the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual needs of our staff. Let’s take our turn to be heroes for our health care providers and give them the much deserved opportunity to unwind and recharge!
Giving Options
- Naming Rights: gift of $5,000
- Name the room: UPMC Horizon-Greenville, UPMC Horizon-Shenango Valley, and UPMC Jameson 3 available.
- Furnishments: gift of $1,000
- Provides furnishings for the tranquility rooms (massage chairs, refrigerator, TV, phone charging station) 6 available.
- Exercise Equipment: gift of $500
- Provides requested exercise equipment (yoga instruction and equipment, breathing exercises poster) 6 available.
- Atmosphere: gift of $250
- Adds the “tranquil” factor, making the rooms relaxing (plants, artwork, lighting, calming music) 6 available.
- Replenishments: gift of up to $100
- Provides items that will need to be replenished in the rooms (coffee, snacks, magazines, books) unlimited.
