The UPMC Horizon Community Health Foundation celebrates the hard-working team at the Hillman Cancer Center at UPMC Horizon in Greenville for making the 2nd annual Dr. Lob memorial T-shirt sale a success. This year’s event saw nearly 150 shirts sold to hospital staff and local community members. After expenses, the sale added $2,351.27 to the Dr. Edgardo Lob Memorial Oncology Patient Care Fund. Dr. Lob was a long-time physician in Greenville, and was respected and loved by his staff, patients and the community. His fund provides support for individuals receiving care and treatment for cancer at Hillman’s Greenville campus.
The Foundation thanks the staff of the Hillman Cancer Center who helped organize this drive, and particularly thanks Kim See for her hard work in ensuring the success of this year’s sale. In addition, the Foundation is grateful to all who participated through the purchase of a shirt.
